ACS WASC accreditation layer — standards crosswalk & evidence map

Custom Image · adult / alternative
Focus on Learning model
3 categories · 9 standards + SLOs
The platform is also the accreditation evidence system.
Everything the app tracks — enrollment, attendance, assessment, completion, demographics, referral source, instructor qualifications, funding — is what a visiting committee asks to see. This layer ties each of the nine WASC standards to the pages and data that already produce its evidence, adds the pages still needed, and threads Schoolwide Learner Outcomes (SLOs) through curriculum and assessment. Page codes in brackets reference the inventory (SYS-MAP-01).

CYCLE

The accreditation cycle the platform feeds

01

Initial visit

A two-member team reviews purpose, program and operations against the criteria.

ACC-08
02

Self-study (by year 3)

All stakeholders clarify SLOs and assess the program against the standards.

ACC-04ACC-03
03

Action plan

A schoolwide plan addresses the areas the self-study surfaces.

ACC-05
04

Annual follow-up

Progress on the plan is assessed and reported each year, then refined.

The one architectural change this forces: every meaningful record — a module, a submission, a completion, an enrollment — needs to be taggable to standards and SLOs, and markable as evidence. That's a mapping table and an evidence flag in the data model. Add those two things and the reporting you already have (OPS-08) becomes a self-study and annual-report engine, not just grant metrics. SLOs and grant outcomes largely measure the same student success — define them together once.
